In the last 30 years, Hydro Tec has engineered over 3000 meters of beautiful seaworthy yachts. Ranging from rugged yet elegant Explorer vessels to fast yet comfortable planning yachts; from small 7 meters tender to majestic 80 meters Megayacht.
Hydro Tec has always paid particular attention to the hydrodynamic efficiency. During its thirty years of activity Hydro Tec gained a wide experience, indiscriminately applied, over the years, to displacement, semi-displacement and planning hulls.
Hydro Tec established proactive collaborations with some of the worldwide leading hydrodynamic research institutes, and constantly updates its database of hydrodynamics with comparison and analysis between the experimental results and the sea trials results.
This allows Hydro Tec to excel in:
• Decision-making capacity in the embryonic stages of the design of the hull;
• Capacity of comparison and analysis of experimental results, also on the basis of a valid and proven database;
• Ability to look to the hydrodynamic design in all its aspects, hydrodynamic efficiency, sea-keeping and interaction between the hull and the individual appendices
